Kyayi Subcounty Free Medical camp
On January 6th – 7th, 2023, Honourable Robina Gureme Rwakoojo (MP Gomba West) in partnership with SALMAT 25 held a 2 day free medical camp for the community of Kyayi subcounty, Gomba district.
The camp Under the Theme: By His stripes we were healed (1 Peter 2:24, Isaiah 53:5), saw 1,333 people receive free medical care for the 2 days through 9 medical services: pharmacy, dental, opticians, laboratory, paediatric,, counsultation, counseling, HPV immunisation and Ultra sound and these came from villages Kyebumba, Kyetume, Nyakasete, Mabanda, Kashambya, Nyabugusyo, Nsororo, Bugula, Buyanja, Kyamukama, Kyayi, Karyabuhoro, Nyakitembe, Nyabugando, Rwaheba, Kanyogoga, Kashego and Kyamulangwa.
At the end of the medical camp, 130 people also had confessed and given their lives to Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
