SALMAT25 2022 Kayanga Parish Football and Netball Tournaments

14th August 2022 was the 5th Edition of the SALMAT25 football and Netball tournament. Held at the Lusalira football field, the 5 villages (Lusalira, Kayanga, Singa, Butayunja, Kitwe)  that make up the Kayanga parish competed in a netball and football gala.

The games saw Kitwe FC emerge the winner in men`s football, Lusalira FC in 2nd place and Singa FC  in 3rd place.

In netball Singa NC was the winner,  Butayunja  NC in 2nd place and   Kitwe NC in 3rd place. 

Still aiming at unity, the SALMAT25 Kayanga Parish football and Netball tournaments have seen youths` talents being nurtured and gaining scholarships in various schools in and outside the community.
